Welcome to Genkstasy Stories. Thanks for being curious about the world and, in this very moment, what we've been up to here at GNK headquarters.
This month marks the celebration of Queensland fashion with the Brisbane Fashion Month (aka BFM) runway shows, events, and most excitingly the BFM Pop Up shop featuring fab local designers of fashion, jewellery, and millinery. We were so honoured to be selected to be one of the featured designers in this space, and have met some amazing fellow creatives in the first week of the three week residency.
We started the week with the Shop the City runway event, complete with my fresh C.K. Sport, ままOveralls and a glass of Frosé (yeah that's a thing, and it's pink and delicious!) and have since had an in-store shoot with local style blogger Modern Awake and Jenna Alyce. And had heaps of fun styling the store ready for spring races, combining our Jen Pants with pieces from Meg Cox and Boutique De Reve.
Looking forward to our live drawing event next week with Cherie Buttons the artist behind our amazing print featured in 'The Histories That Made Us' collection.
